Exit signs and emergency lights that test themselves
NFPA 101 asks for a 30-second test of every unit every month and a 90-minute test every year. One Touch turns that into a single button press, and our self-testing models do it on their own.

Emergency lighting tests get skipped because they are hard
Monthly tests a year
NFPA 101 calls for a 30-second functional test of every exit sign and emergency light every 30 days, plus written records for the inspector.
Minute annual test
Once a year each unit must run on battery for 90 minutes. In most buildings that means switching breakers off for an hour and a half.
Ladder per fixture
Tiny test switches sit high over doors. Holding them for 30 seconds on a ladder is slow, risky and easy to skip, which is how fines happen.
One press. Or no press at all.
One Touch models
A large tactile test button built into the face of the unit. Press once and the 30-second monthly test runs itself. Press twice for the annual 90-minute test. No ladder, no held switch, no breaker.
How One Touch works →Self-testing models
The unit runs both tests on schedule and shows any fault on a high-visibility indicator. Your team walks the building, looks, and logs. That is the whole monthly test.
Self-testing explained →The One Touch lineup
Three fixture types, each in a One Touch and a self-testing version. All UL 924 listed.

Safety is not a luxury
GLS Emergency Lighting was founded by Steve, who spent more than 35 years in fire and occupational safety watching critical tests get skipped because they were too hard to do, and Rich, a USMC combat veteran. One Touch is their answer: make the test so easy that it always gets done.
